Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 in HK

Hi guys, anyone of you went to HK and bought lens there before?

I saw this lens which has got 2 version:

TOKINA
AT-X116 Pro DX (ND)

TOKINA
AT-X116 Pro DX (CE)

What is the difference?

Is it that one is a grey set, the other is with international warranty?

Btw i have called CP ytd morning.
They honor international warranty. Just gotta take the receipt issued by the shop and warranty card down. They will service the lens for you FOC so long as it is not mandatory fault.

The problem is, AFAIK, Tokina HK no longer issues international warranty card and only gives local warranty? Can someone confirm?

According to Hong-Kong-Camera-Gears-Shopping-Guide from CS Tan under the third thread, there is 2 warranty cards issued.
One for international and one for hongkong.

Bro, CP will only charge us labour cost if we bring to them for servicing, which is around $35-$50.
All spare parts will be changed FOC if necessary within the two years international warranty.

This really make buying of Tokina products worth it

Holy Crap, I just called the HK distributor. I guess they can recognise my voice thou.
The guy mentioned that Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 CE is meant for Canon while Tokia 11-16mm f2.8 ND is meant for Nikon.
I am not sure how true is that, but seems quite real afterall LOL

Depending on range, it can be cheaper by 15-35%

CE probably means Canon EOS mount
ND probably means Nikon AF-D mount

HK$4880 (Ard S$825) for a 3yrs HK Warranty and 2yrs International Warranty Tokina 11-16mm F2.8
Not only so, they will give a better offer for those filters too.

Price in Singapore, Cheapest so Far by SLR is $943.
