To rent or not to rent a PNS for oversea short trip

Hi bro and sis ,

recently i had these tots coming into my mind.. because of the new Sony TX5 PNS!
Whether to rent this camera from my frd or to buy it for my short trip coming up in mid may.

i personnally owned a DSLR but not intending to bring it for those short island trip..

So here, i would like to hear your opinion on whether you guys would wanna rent a PNS(which had this water-proof feature gd for island trip) or just made do wif current holding set of any camera???

Price-wise of coz if its not more than 80 for a short trip of 5 dayz..;p
