Tips to Sharpen a pic without the noise

I learnt this by trial and error.

If you have a blur photograph, run it through with unsharp mask.

So you have a sharp photograph now but with artifacts and noise.

Firstly, to get rid of the noise, run it through NeatImage Plugin, Noise Ninja, or Imagenomic Noiseware Professional.

Next, to get rid of the artifacts, use the History brush to clean up the body but do not touch the outlines.

This technique is not perfect, but is able to save some photos.

Do use it with care and trial and error.

I think there is a simpler way. In smart sharpen, you can fade the sharpening at the shadow regions (most noisy)
