1st one is just a snap shot.

2nd one has horizon tilt (inappropriate in this instance) and the blue hoarding at the end of the playground spoils the pic.

the 1st pic has got such a wonderful green backdrop! the right hand side is a bit distracting though, perhaps can try a slightly tighter crop?

the 2nd pic looks pretty vertical to me, judging by the windows at the edge of the frame. the footpath in the middle appears slanted due to the slope.
