Anyone having fun with Time Lapse Photography these days? :)

Wanted to try on my canon 450D, however realised that I would need a intervalometer to make it happen.

However, managed to replicate it via macbook isight using istopmotion software.

Composition is not the greatest but it is just for fun.
Check it out here

I thought it would be fun project for one to try next time =)

maybe something more substantial

like a nice view throughout the day, or a carpark that was filled until after work

watching cars zoom by, well, it has its charm, but it's limited

well, i think your stop time is too long, it seem very patchy...

i'd say, shoot with a better camera, use longer exposure to capture trail lines instead of static cars. go from lower angle to get the sky view and if possible show the transition of time, yours just lack of that.

Oh, I am using the macbook isight. I do not own a intervalometer.
Resolution is due to the istopmotion software. High Res version need to pay more $$$

If i feel richer one day, I might consider getting a intervalometer for my 450D

:)

My Canon IXUS 70 has a built-in Time Lapse mode.... ;p
Here's an example...

Nikon has software that you can use to control the camera using the laptop... There's timelapse function too... Not sure about Canon....
