Week 28 - Architectural Landscape is one of my favourite subjects. Sunday gave beautiful light blue sky with interesting clouds. This weeks' 4PAW will start with;

Singapore Waterfront - how the landscape has change through the years. I was chatting with the tourist-boat captain and he was telling me how as a young boy, he remembers the waterfront was so different.

I am so tired - 2 days in a row, I saw him sleeping on the sofa inside MBS. It must be very confortable place to take a nap.

Final picture for 4PAW Week 28 - I am so Lonely II
I love the sony nex5N. APS-C sensor, noise control and the size and fit is exactly what I need for street shooting. Wish it has a 10-20UWA emount lens.

Week 29 - This week 4PAW open with a solemn picture of a homeless man in Singapore. Our country has grown fast and furious through the years, but there are always people who falls back as they will never be able to catch up.

Only three pictures for this week 4PAW.:cry: Thanks for viewing.

This was taken using a Pentax-M 28mm f/2. One of my rare little baby that make things pop. Glad you like it.

I find this shot has the 3D look, nice! Was it a Zeiss lens that you used?

Week 34 - Have been busy with work, ending up missing 5 weeks of posting. this week 4PAW consist of 2 pics of a personal project that I have been working on, and another 2 on a workshop that I have attended to brush up my skills.

there is a funny story to that leaf. it was a lot easier to photo without the leaves. I purposely kept the leaf in the frame to break the tension in the composition and also provide a little green color.

To get this shot, I have to use a clothing rack and laid the plant on it side, than use a soft clip to hold down one leaf so that it is in the frame. I also had to clean the leaf with a little water and soft cloth. It took nearly 20mins to do setup as I do not want to break the flowers and plant, and only 2-3 minutes to shoot.

I got 2 reactions from people whom i show this pic, it was either with or without leaf.

I like this one. It'll be perfect if the leave isn't in the frame.

Cheem-ness! Thanks for sharing! Very interesting! To understand tension better, I've actually did a comparison. In the end, I still prefer one without the leaf. Haha... The leave does, indeed, makes it less tense.

Also did a little research on the subject matter and realised one of the reasons why I like UWAs (and certain kinds of shots). It's one of those "now that I think of it" moments. Learned something new today! =)
