Tiff files showing wrong previews

A few of my tiff files are showing wrong previews e.g. files showing toys when I open them up they are vegetables.

I remember I have ran "Registry Repair Pro" not long ago. Could it stuff up those tiffs?

Not the Registry. If it was Registry error, your application would have crashed.

This is simply a case of the hidden file called "thumbs" is the wrong one. This is a corrupted thumbnail file.

How did this happen? When you copy/move some of your photos often to and from various folders.

Just set your PC to be able to view the hidden files and DELETE the "thumbs" file within the affected folder or sub-directory.

Don't worry about deleting it. You will then view your photos correctly.

I opened the offended files up and resaved them and the correct thumbnails were restored.

But must "save as" not just "save".
