Coincidently, this is the site that I learn how to tie a tie. Half winsor for me.
I only put on a tie during meeting with clients.

I only know the half-windsor method. Only use ties when in school and ROM.

I don't like the windsor/half windsor.. I would prefer an uncommon method, that will make your tie appear long, without sacrificing the length behind the tie. Because I am quite tall, so I need to wear ties that are long enough.

yeah, it's the easiest and fastest but the knot isn't very nice... and it goes out of shape very easily...

Was taught the Windsor knot in Sec Sch (though didn't know its proper name till JC), been doing a Half-Windsor before that..

i only know 1/2 windsor.

but after army, when i sort of gain lots of bulk, all my ties seems way to short. by the time i have enough length for the "front", the one behind is way way too short.:bsmilie::bsmilie:
