Was told that 展佛 during 雪顿节 not to be missed, so have to drag our tired body and went up to 哲蚌寺， 拉萨 at 4am to watch the activity, it was really crowded...

31. This one was taken while the performers run from the stage to the back of the hall, while covering the audience (including me) with a large piece of blue fabric, seems to be simulating the wave effect....

Wow! Very nice photos! I will be going there in Oct. Are you on a tour package or free and easy? You flew by China eastern to xi-an? How was the ride?

Thanks. I was with a package tour, the trip is not that comfortable physically, but its well worth all the efforts and "troubles". Flew there with China Eastern, to Xi'an. All flights there were never on time, and it seems to be quite normal that way.....;-) Hope you will have a wonderful experience there.....

Some of the 50++ members in the tour group did feel uncomfortable upon reaching Lhasa, specifically the younger ones. Some of them even need to have treatment by the local doctor at the hotel that we stayed, and one even have to be hospitalized, probably due to the over exertion while participating the 展佛activity at 哲蚌寺. Most of us did adapt well to the highland condition eventually.

Ok. Thats good. Always thought that it will the older ones that will be affected by the altitude.

39 羊卓雍湖， the piles of stones scattered around are "build" by peoples who believed and hoped that it will help them in fulfilling their wishes. I think they were called 玛尼堆。
