^^ Not really a big deal. Student traveller accommodation in other countries cramp about the same number of people in one room. Our baggage and stuff were all to be stored in a store room. Two floors of people share two toilets and a bathroom located in the basement. Singaporeans should travel more to cure them of their spoilt mentality.

but what you are saying is traveller right. but these caregivers have to stay their for their contract duration, with these kind of living conditions, how can they give their 100%?

why should them be living in such conditions when we dont expect to be treated this way? isnt this double standard?

Youre kidding right? You travel on your liking, you at least know what to expect. These caregivers were promised something else. Get it!?

Anyone else think that the "anonymity" is not anonymous enough? :dunno: How many workers can there be? We wouldn't be able to tell, but if the employers / bosses watching, I'd give them a good chance of being able to tell who it is who talked to the camera. Feel sorry for that person.

And did you even bother to see the video? Man, people say the weirdest thing nowadays. Please try to remain in context. At least try.

After doing some googling i found some things about this company.

1) The CEO and Chairman are the same person.

wasn't there some debate about this topic after the renci scandal broke where he was both?
here's 2 recent articles about MOH recommending Renci to separate the role of Chairman and CEO to separate people:

Does this only apply to charities?

also,

2) Last october appointed Mdm Koh Hin Ling, to be on the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

it is also stated that Mdm Koh Hin Ling is also Executive Director and Head of Administrative Matters, and also a member of the board

and on MAS net, it states that she is the CEO's and Chairman's wife.

is this also normal practice?

Please no flaming! i am just doing my research as it is a public company!
