if it does you might want to try one with the lights on
and a darker bg

You might want to shoot it during evening time when the backlight is not so bright and as suggested by Ortega, turn on the backlit timer......for now it looks like an underexposed subject with an overblown background with too much reflection on the plastic cover.....
