The quality of picture.. (help)

Hi all,

I have upload a photo into website.. when i view my website from my laptop and iphone, the quality of the photo is good (means that it is not harsh, the pixels is not so visible).

When I try to open the website from my office's computer, the quality of the photo is really bad, the pixels is visible and I can harly read my trademark on that photo.. But when i try to open other website, the photo's quality is very good.

why is it so? is there any way to make this photo's qualify to be consistent regardless from which comp i see it?

when i first opened your site, your photo looked extremely grainy and your watermark looked a tad jagged.

this is because of resizing issues, i don't know how these things work, but when i zoomed in it was great.

do note that i am using small laptop (should be 12" screen)

you can probably replicate the same issue by holding ctrl and moving mousewheel backwards.

edit: funnily enough, when i zoom out again it does the same thing.

using IE7 on windows xp system.

Looks grainy on my work machine zoomed in and normal viewing. (XP with Firefox)

looks like coding issues. I'm viewing this also in Firefox on WinXP. It's looks very very grainy and the pre-wedding shots seemed very jagged on the edges of pixels. You might wanna review your codings. This normally happens when you try to resize an image using html codes for the higher resolution image. What you wanna try first is set your graphics to 72dpi and also resize it to the exact dimension first

The original image is grainy (100% crop) -

Solution - resize the image to the intended size for your webpage that is 687pixel for the width with photoshop or firework and upload to your website again.

Right now you are "forcing" the original image (4288 x 2848) to be viewed at 687pixel according to your HTML code - (<div align="left"> <img src="image/home_galleries/DSC_0153bw.jpg" width="687" height="451"></div>)

Resized with photoshop to 687pixel (width) -

Nothing wrong with all the monitors. some look good because of the monitor resolution.
