Just toying around with the idea of conducting a series of workshops, starting with Potraits, and may go on to Nature, Macros, Sunset, Night Cityscape, NightSpots, Candids, Abstract, Pets etc etc...

I personally found each aspect interesting and have learnt new things each time I move into a different genre of photography.

While I'm far from being an expert in each area, I can see how my images has improved technically and more importantly in the mental process of creating the images.

Thinking of conducting the first workshop in mid or end July.
Probably a 2 hour session in an auditorium first followed by a hands-on session with a few models, probably 1 experienced female, 1 inexperienced female & 1 male model.

This would probably also include post-processing if time allows...

How many of you would be keen on this and how much would be a reasonable charge for this? Any suggestions?

Depends who is the model, whether there is any make-up artist involve, is the auditorium free and how many participants would you take in.

Willy, based from what you mentioned I would suggest about a minimum $80-$100 per participants with all the above mentioned and at least 8 participants.

I probably won't have time to conduct too many workshops... so I might have anywhere from 50-100 people for the talk... the hands-on may be limited to a smaller group..

I will most likely get sponsorship for the auditorium/room. I have figured out which models or asked them but at least one of them will be competent in make up or will bring along a makeup artist.

"Portraits - debunking the myths"

What myths are you trying to debunk in your workshop?
