Abit draggy, but he does go quite in depth on the more interesting features. Video mode seems very promising, especially the DX mode and 2.7x Mode, while still being able to shoot in full 1080 HD format. Very interesting!

Iso performance is stepped up, its better by a stop, ISO 12800 on D4 = ISO 6400 on D3. Incredible!

same person also does really really good post processing critiques for portraits. Look up Jared Polin or FroKnowsPhoto.

only thing I don't like is that he tends to go extremely contrasty on his post processing... and that's not a good thing with asian skintones.

Will be keeping my D700 too. Expect D3 prices to fall in B&S.

Not for me either. D3 is still a power house by itself and can deliver on most types of photo works. The only thing is when you need really large images with fine details.

interestingly after doing some read up... it comes with FX DX CX modes for video.... and with all 3 modes it can shoot HD 1080p... w/o loosing resolution... wonder does this apply for still images as well...
