The next big buzzword for SG - SPACE!

Well, pretty much in line with neo-classical economics style of thinking -> forever expansion is necessary for viability and there is infinite amount of resource to be exploited … kekeke …☺

Our new MRT station coming? Space station?

Resources are limited.....

Keep on expansion is good and if the follow up is bad..... what the point when every thing is half baked???

SG will be so crowded, space will become luxury item :(

Logically speaking.... sg is an ideal location as launch pad cos of our position that is away from all fault lines......
But that is a big if........
It's less an issue with fault lines but rather the close proximity to equator. And for the people it will be a few more fireworks per year :)

mini star already head in clouds . won't be surprised if they are lost in space also.

anyway our island is well placed to launch but not to build, the humidity is too high

Any Expandable Launch Vehicle (ELV) even to just Low Earth Orbit (LEO) here will have a prohibited no-fly buffer zone several dozen kilometres in radius around the launch site and a danger designated launch corridor that stretches across the entire South China Sea (SCS) and further more.

You are talking about closing and shutting off the entire Singapore Flight Information Region (SFIR), airspace under the authority and control of Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre (SATCC) to all aviation and maritime traffic. Good Luck with that!

Singapore Tower this is Niner Victor Shuttle 1 request Low Earth Orbit...LOL

You have to request and seek approval from the United Nations (UN) International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) whom is responsible for assigning and managing satellite orbits and depending on your orbital insertion inclination and trajectory, approval from neighbouring countries have to be requested as well.

Last but no least, you have to inform the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) National Space Science Data Center (NSSDC) and United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) as well.
