hello guys, just want to share this pc of news to all potential iMac owners. the release of the G5 iMac is finally here. :)

also there is this news about apple recv a patent for their tablet mac. seems like apple has some neat trick up their sleeves in order to secure a patent compared to the tablet pc. kind of reminded me of the apple Newton. ;p

personally, if i were to get an entry level mac, i will go for this G5 iMac instead of the mac-mini. i still think this iMac is a better investment (64 bit CPU & 64 bit OS). all u have to do now is wait for 64 bit apps to be released. perhaps Photoshop CS3? :lovegrin: :devil:

I thought this is released for quite some time? I got mine like last year Dec, 20" LCD model.

impressions, the screen is very good but it runs VERY HOT, heats up the whole room. There are some issues with the OS though but that is nothing to do with the hardware.

does not look so cool when you include the power cable... I guess the MAC still cannot run on batterries :)

i thought last year iMac models was running on G4 instead of G5? oh no, i m so out dated with mac computers... :confused: sorry for the late post of old news. still can look forward to the tablet mac right? ;)

No not you, Mac is outdated
