Greetings,

I'm thinking of getting a digital camera (2nd hand perhaps).

At present I'm considering models like the olympus c700uz and the canon a20 as
-I do like the part that they use rechargeable NiMH batteries.
-at least 2 megapixel
-good quality digital shots
- the 10x optical zoom on the c700

What models would you guys recommend? How about the two models I've mentioned?

Btw is the rechargeable batteries bundled with the olympus camera the quick charge one? ie 3-4hrs for complete charge of 4 batteries?

How much does a tripod generally cost? Is it easy to get for all digital cameras?

Are there any new models coming out which offers a good balance of ease of use and the sophistication of some manual controls? What about Panasonic's new line?
At this point I'm dangerously close to bursting my budget for tech gadgets... so obviously I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck?

Say the Olympus Battery Charger that comes bundled with the promotions can it be used to quick charge other NiMH batteries like the Sanyo ones?
