One of the best ways to learn how to make better prints is to expose yourself to great masterworks.
You'll develop an eye for the aesthetics of photographic printmaking.
You'll become sensitized to the many nuances that add up to make a great print.
Come view the Award winning prints by Mr Gho Peng Tjin, Ms Gho Lay Tin and Mr Stephen Loh.

Saturday, 27th July 2013 1:00pm - 4:30pm @ Singapore Flyer, Royal Palm
Registration from 12 noon

Free admission, due to limited space, registration is required.
Your place is secured only upon confirmed registration list that will be announced by Monday 22nd July evening by ClubSNAP

Join Stephen & James in this basic introduction to fine art digital printing. Learn about the art and process of producing a fine art print,
including color management, file processing, inkjet technologies, ICC profiling, and paper selections. You’ll learn about what makes a
great fine art print, the different types of papers available today, and what to look for when choosing paper for your own work.

Stephen Loh, one of Singapore's top wedding photographers, will share his ideas on the process of coming up with original concepts
and translating them into award winning photographs and prints.

As an experienced print-maker, James will share his expertise and experiences making fine art prints for galleries and art shows, as well
as which papers he uses and why. He’ll also demonstrate his printing workflow using Lightroom 4 and Photoshop. There will also be a
Q+A period where your questions about paper, printing and digital workflow can be discussed.

Stephen is a two-time winner of the Master Photographer Association (MPA) Awards in the Contemporary category and one of the
founders of Lyrical Moments which specialises in original ideas for experimental wedding photography. James is regarded by some
of the best known photographers as one of the most sought after print-makers in Singapore. He is Singapore's first operator of
professional grade large scale fine art printers capable of producing details for large prints measuring over 5 x10 feet in size.
James is also the only Fellow-ranked Digital Print Maker in the Master Photographers Association (MPA) of the UK and is the first Asian
Judge in the high-level MPA photo competition since in 2011.
