erm......able to crop or edit the pictures to look better before sending it for printing?
and of coz save alot of $$$$ , not wasting on films and unwanted/spoilt pics.....

What are the most famous drags about being an amateur with an SLR?.... Oly 3040 deals with them 1 by 1
ISSUE 1:
Picturing your gf in the nude....
SOLUTION --> no need for film developing
ISSUE 2:
When your gf is in the mood to be pictured in the nude you don't have (enough) film
SOLUTION --> no need for films
ISSUE 3:
Your gf poses shamelessly but closes her eyes when the flash is ON.
SOLUTION --> Onboard LCD will tell you when you need to take a picture again
ISSUE 4 --> While your gf is patiently posing , you decide that picturing rew flesh is boring and decide to be artistic. You turn OFF the flash to "experiment" with shadows. As a result pictures come out with an orange or greenish tint despite adequate exposure. You are another victim of incadecent or fluorecent lights.
SOLUTION --> Just point at a white sheet of paper and the skin color of your precious object of desire (gf) will look pretty and natural again (even on the LCD)
ISSUE 5: You eventually break up with your gf....What with the nude fotos?
SOLUTION --> No need to think of wasted money when tearing off photos... Just delete them or even better upload them to a suitable site and take revenge.....
Conclusively, you should definitely buy an OLY....
PS Girls.... please read BF instead of GF... OLY is unisex!....

No problems at all.... after a good all night session of nude fotogrpahy with your gf , you can also turn the camera on without removing the lens cap , to imitate the opening of bottle of chmpagne.... Good thinking OLYMPUS.... what a shame people don't seem to appreciate this hidden feature!

The only glaring advantage is savings in film costs. I can live without the other mentioned "advantages".
does it share the same flexibilty like having a range of lenses?
how about printing? Although it saves on developing unwanted pictures, but is the cost per print cheaper or more expensive than film?

If you use a digital SLR, you have the same flexibility as your normal SLRs in that you can changes lenses, etc.
Cost per print of digital is higher, but you have the option of not printing all your pictures.
