Taken this picture from the pine tree.
The ideas was to re-assemble coral reef.
For your comments and critique.
Thank you.

Nice colours and good use of shallow dof,
the only nit pick i can see is the position of the text "the coral"
i suggest that it should be moved down slightly, in between the "coral"

the softness of the image add to the effect that it is under water.

Thank you for your comment Ortega.
The original color is actually dark green and the dark shadow in the background spoilt the entire picture.
So I decide to convert into mono.

Text wise, maybe I should experiment more.
Do you think it will be too muh if I add the tile "Pine Tree" at the bottom of the frame?
Just to indicate if this is a pine tree.
Thanks. :)

maybe just change the title to "the pine" or "pine tree" instead of "the coral"
Ortega, how about this one? Which one you prefer?
By the way, have you post more insect picture recently?
Cheers ;)

the 'corel' colour is unique and abit of misty effect.. i like it.. :p

Thank you Ortega and Destiny stra.
It seems like "the coral" is the prefer choice.
For me personally I like "Pine Tree" edition.
Cheers

Pine Tree is cool dude!!!
Color is Vibrant....Creative use of DOF :)

Thank you Belle&Sebastian, SgDavid (hey, I have no chance to use the CS2 book yet) and slaam.
Great you guys like it.:bsmilie:

The text is actually done in purpose.
Initially I also dont like the text over the picture.
However, after seen so many people doing it, I change my mind.
I suppose it is the trend. So I try to adapt the ideas.
Anyone here doing the same thing? Its like from CD cover. ;)

WOW.........Myeahok, thats very artistic.
Its like color from Japanese sweet potatoes.
Kind of too strong for me though.
Your title very chim. What is the meaning in simple English?

Talking about color, I wonder whether it would be nice IF I have series of color, print out A4 sizes and display on the wall.
Maybe from original (green), yellow, blue and red?

yes, it is too strong. i also think the pine one is too strong.

if i were to do a series i would focus on a variety of subject/objects.

like for blue you can show "Ice"
or for red you can show "Earth".
etc...

just have fun with different colours and textures if you want to do a series.

now ask yourself if you want a bright colour series or a neutral colour series.
HAVE FUN!

the first one, the tones are great, appeal to me, really. the rest cant compare to the first in my humble opinion only. n i think i'd prefer it w/o words, more space for thought. nicee!

Myeahok, thank you for your feedback.
I will give a try when I have time.
Just bought Pixma4000 from Comex.
Should be cool.:bsmilie:

Ziedrich, glad that you like "the coral" version.
I think the response so far 50/50 for "Coral" and "Pine Tree".
For me personally, maybe I like Pine Tree.

Cheers :vhappy:
