luckily managed to calm myself down then and told myself to work within the limit/ constraint.
too used to taking photos with the SLR for the past 1+ month since I bought it.

btw, who's the interviewers? Is the main one doing the talking a photographer?

upon reading their clause, i have issues with the producers.

if you are indeed nurturing these aspiring photographers, then why are you taking away ALL their rights to the images?

Other than the long commitment to the show, this is the other main reason why I gave this a pass. Just doesn't seem right - even photography competitions don't go to this extent.

I am also a participant. I happened to come across The Big Shot facebook at noon today and decided to shared the site (see above thread) with all photography buddies here.
In fact they are still uploading the images while I was searching for my photo which appeared later. Think they uploaded all participant's work.

Maybe you should try calling MediaCorp about your missing Photo.

Hi jryckw, I do not think voting will affect the result at all.
Think Mediacorp will use this voting as a tool to create some excitement leading to the final selection of participants. I think it is good fun to see what others have done within a short period of time - 10 - 15 minutes.

some of them obviously used image manipulation. maybe iphone mobile PS?

but I thought it might be unfair but seems like most of the PS didn't manage the enhance the composition.

Got some look like DSLR take one, or at least high end PNS. See the background blur can tell already. I don't really like the extreme high contrasts though, I think it's not needed and looks weird also.
