Comments and critques are very welcome!

I like the first one. Essense of the guy captured. Anticipation of the moment to come.
:)

Hi

Nice work! Particularly love the 1st and 4th picture ;)

izzit me or izzit evening time.
there seems to be a blue cast in the last picture

for the 1st picture.
the focus seems to fall on the bright lime green lime! followed by the background. the background seems very distracting here. but then again it does add live to the picture.

waaaahhh... eerrm... i wanted to say something very biased, but i realised i'll be talking back about my own community... wahahhaa... but what the heck!

nice makkals!!! ;p

No idea why also. I go back and take a look at my slides again.

The background was delibrate. My intended effect was to have both of them in focus. But I wasn't getting fast enough shutter speeds at the intended aperture to be able to handhold effectively. It'll end up like my hibiscus picture. :p

what lens

I can't remember. I was alternating between the 50mm f/1.8 and the 70-210mm f/3.5-f5.6 that day.

Blue cast? Looks like its from the evening light....

That sounds likely, except that it was nowhere near evening when I shot it. :p

Provia 100F is known to have a blue cast, apparently.
