Tele Convertor Zoom question!

My camera is Canon PowerShot A75, I want to add the (2.4)tele convertor TC-DC52 to my camera.

Can I still use the digital zoom after adding the tele lens? My camera now has combined zoom of 10x. After adding the tele lens, will my camera zoom become 24x? (optical + digital)
