Hi Experts,

Looking for a DSLR that can be teethered with a PC.
During use, DSLR is connected to and controlled by PC via either USB or Firewire.

i.e Able to be controlled by PC for configuration of shutter speeds, exposure modes, burst modes, etc.
Able to shutter by PC, download images taken, etc.

ie. Camera must come with SDK for programming.

Previously have tried a 2m Kodak camera, but obsolete liao.

Any experts can recommend?

Thanks thanks

Richard

most modern DSLRs can be shot tethered. the canon ones definitely can.

but im not sure what you mean by SDK.... for canon, there is a program that u donwload to computer and it allows you to take control over basic settings and to shoot. but its not a software development kit. and its not programmable.

thanks!!
SDK part is to write Windows programs say in VC++ to control the camera.
Basically need to shoot under program control and download images using
VC++ or similar.

thanks you

well there isnt one available..
but anyway i dont seee why u would want one... with the software, once u shoot, its uploaded to computer anyway and u can then process it how u want.

previously used the Nikon sdk b4 via firewire
the shutter command took too long to effect.
ended up using a cable to "press" the shutter instead..

dunno if canon sdk has better shorter latency...
like a few milliseconds...

anyone used it?
