Hi,

interested to know your prediction of the DSLR proliferation....

when do you think the price of a new full frame dslr will drop to the sub S$3000 range? It's not a matter of 'if' but 'when'.

Will be interesting to hear your theories :)

next 2-3 years.... but maybe will be at the 5-7k range...

when did I sing song??

Do you mean definitely will happen? Will be interesting to hear your theories too! :)

it WILL drop, but it will take sometime for the camera to depreciate. but when will it drop, it will depends.... the demand usually will keep the camera's price on the high side.

Me is outsider to dslr. still using film. No PC even.

So just liek to hear from dslr users on the trends.

When all da 30MP cam comes out, da 10MP cam will be cheap :bsmilie:

But one thing is that if you're going to wait for a cam for too long, think it will be already a discontinued cam.

Wise comment :)

Looking at the proliferation of 1.6X and 1.5X crop factor dslr now, we may come to a point where lens makers will do a switch and mass produce lenese for such cameras and in the future, 1.5 or 1.6X will be 'Full Frame' and 35mm will be the odd format.
