Travelling on same route, ever wonder why some taxis more expensive than the others?
Let us not mentions anything about different company or the meter.

Talk about at night at times with very little traffic along expressway, how come the taxi driver sometimes keep extreme left and sometimes extreme keep right when there are no traffic blocking the way and why the driver don't want to keep in one lane?

Yes, they:
keep left when it is a right bend.
keep right when it is a left bend!

Those drivers are not inconsiderate, they are just trying to make a little more out the trip.
