there is only monkey that's close to human inhabitation, but they are not active at night. For other animals one must venture off trail.. then how to pretect against snakes or insects?

Sorry some clarifications. This is just a photography trip to take photos of stray dogs / cats / etc. We wont be bashing through forrest at night. Should be going around neighbourhood or jus streets.

oh i see.. reminded me of year 1 orientation at uni. they brought us through forests and tunnels at night and it was really scary. luckily that was with a huge groups of people so any snake would have been scared off.
