I have some queries... What are the roles of SK Advisors? Are they suppose to assist in the manual works of holding the reflectors, can they shoot along or they just advise in where helpers should stand with the flash or even dictate how the models should pose??

Somehow .. i feel the off-beat zeal with more people willing to do SK advisory then to have the integrity in doing a proper shoot at event as such. Respect not exercised.

For benefits to photographers, models, advisers and helpers.. the roles should be clear. Photographers should be hinted on how many shots made deliverable after the event. Models if new, would any of the advisor (and who?) take the lead in the posing for them (or they want to take own lead), SK as spelled should not shoot but how are they going to be assisting in the shoot, advisor (with due respect) who are they and best if they have credentials that rest can acknowledge to, photographers... some of them are rather seasoned shooters, would they want the opinion of another which will handicap their creativity and full developement in their persepctives?

Sorry for the open statement - but Just wishing to prevent on a "noticeable collision" and in need of being transparent and clear to all. My view point may be rediculed immediately by the SK Advisors but I must clarify that I am targetting none of you (individual) nor you as a whole. This is after all a Photography Forum where all come together for pushing the passion up in its prestige not somewhere with "SK Advisor" in promotion. My apology to the organiser, no malice intended. Though not the worst shooter here but neither am I the better ones, so naturally will benefit from some of your advises... but i have to pull out from this one which i deem be-littling in the craft of Photography. I think this should be discussed in the kopitiam since the core shooters congregate over there. A SK warrior is willing to share their knowledge with the shooters, same thing applies to the shooters should expressed their ideas on what they want to shoot. This is a two way process and main thing is teamwork. To conduct a proper shoot, all elements should work together, brainstorm and execute. If the individuals willing to listen, there will be better results. Sometimes, the shooters does not have the objective on what to shoot, will result no subject or theme shooting, which means anyhow wack. Of course, there is always an obseleted case.
