Pre-Photokina 2008: Tamron has announced the availability of the SP AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) lens for Canon and Nikon APS-C DSLRs. This ultra wide-angle lens offers a minimum focus distance of 0.24m throughout its range and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:5 at 24mm. Can't wait for the Lens review......

Interesting.. hope this can beat the Sigma in terms of sharpness... though my Sigma is already pretty sharp

Interesting.. But will the autofocus still be loud like every tamron lens? =/
