Tamron AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II VC LD Aspherical (IF) lens - AF motor sound loud?

Hi All,

Recently, I have bought a Tamron AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II VC LD Aspherical (IF) lens. However, when I found that when AF, the motor sound is loud (at least louder than Nikon lens). As this is my first Tamron lens, so I am not sure whether anyone has this experience? Or is it some problem with the lens I bought?

Mine is pretty silent but quite slow.
