Hi all,

I've been considering to buy the Tamron AF17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di LD Aspherical lens.

Anyone here owns or has used, it? Any comments about it's image quality?

Compared to an equivalent from Sigma or Tokina, how does this Tamron fair?

It has IF (Internal Focusing) which is a bit faster than non-IF counterpart. Correct?

Anyway, the lens distance scale is not very wide, and rotational angle is small. It's not much of a problem right?

IF just states that when u mount a filter in front, it will not turn.

The rotational angle is ard 45 deg if i remember correctly, but it moves slowly. The tamron 28-75 is 1/2 the angle.
