Learn all you need to know about Fine Art photography, like when did it all start and where it is today, from Gilles Massot, as Noise Singapore returns with a fresh series of its highly-successful workshops!

Participants will be enlightened on essential information such as the history of Fine Art photography, its evolution, its ambiguous relation to painting, misunderstandings and misconceptions.

Most importantly, they will also be taught to survey the current situation and try to outline some possible directions for evolution.

About Gilles Massot
Born in France, Gilles Massot came to Singapore in 1981 after studying architecture and photography. His multi-faceted career in the arts includes areas such as photography, writing, visual and performing arts, research as well as, education. Gille’s unique approach to art has resulted in many art exhibitions in France and throughout Asia. Gilles currently lectures on photography at LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Technological University. His works are part of the collections of Maison Europeenne de la Photographie and Maison du Geste et de I’Image in Paris, The Arts House and Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore, as well as private collectors throughout Asia and Europe.
 

Gilles is a true talent, and you will be swayed by his passion and enduring enthusiasm in what he does. A must see.
