Hi,

If i want to take a landscape shot, what f-stop should I use? Since everything is essentially at infinity, would f/2 make any difference from f/8? Assuming I don't use a tripod....

Some people would want to include some nearby detail like a tree, house, rock etc. Then f2 would NOT be enough to show everything sharp. They would use f22. But then they would also use a tripod.

If you are holding the camera, it would still be better to use a smaller aperture unless you really want shallow depth of field.

If you use 28mm, 1/30 won't shake unless you eat too much chicken feet....:D
