Taking graduation and family portraits

Taking family photos is a rare occasion. While getting a good family portrait taken is difficult and very few studios in Singapore can do it.

There are studios in Singapore offering low prices which attract many potential customers. Most of us will just look at the PRICE and start COMPARING but forget about the quality of the photos, good camera equipment and lighting used in the photo taking process.

What are your views?

anyway, what is the customers respond/feel whenever they view their portrait is the most important.
if they feel noting, the portrait is worthless even cost a few thousands to get it taken.

not only the photo trade. In fact in recent years, company price wars seems to be the "in" strategy.

I agree, its a very vicious cycle that ironically ends in the tragedy of the consumer complaining why cant they charge more for a better service. I recently experienced smtg similar from a very high profile studio tt offers graduation portraits
