Yesterday, we observed 3 minutes of silence. The flags are flying half-mast, all entertainment shows have been cancelled (including the Olympic torch relay) for 3 days. Amazed at the effort of the army in their rescue efforts. Brilliant and immediate action taken by the Chinese government. Feel very proud.
We hear miracles of how a survivor is rescued after being burried in rubble for several days. In tough times like this, the human spirit prevails.
