Sheryl is currently one of my favourite CS models. She is responsive and able to deliver poses when asked most of the time, and certainly not difficult to shoot at all.

As seen in img 1/2, the EF 135 f2L is certainly one of the sharpest lenses produced by canon... quick, responsive and accurate AF, coupled with a simple to use perspective (full body distortions are almost nil unlike shooting on my EF 85 f1.2L which care must be taken in shooting angle).

The classical question is of course; 135L or 85L. Well they are both good, so just shoot with either.

C & C & technical questions welcomed as usual! More images to be added soon.

Hongray joined in with me for venom's shoot that sunday.

He is a friend, photography partner (at weddings) and is probably most well known for his low freelance rates when he started advertising on CS before mid-2009.

Scorned by critics for his weak gear (then 1000D + kit lens) and his awfully low rates ($15/hr), he now shoots regular at events/weddings and owns a 5D Mark 1, couple of other bodies, and more than a few quality zooms & primes (as seen in the picture his 135 f2L, which i used for previously images).

So rmb hong ray if you just started out photography as a freelancer, 1 year is a long time to build up gear and rep.

Liting, also known as Chloe, is probably one of the first cs models which I worked with when I first became a shoot organiser last year for 9 months. And she no doubt became one of the most frequent models on my shoots. :bsmilie:

She seldom fails to draw crowd, and her eyes has once been described by a fellow shooter & senior member to be "enchanting", "lively" and "bewitching"...

Here she is back from a not-too-short break!

Think this is the 2nd time i've shot Jaslyn, she is certainly a fine and cooperative CS girl.

Look forward to seeing her future appearance on photoshoots.

It was shot at 10.57 am. No flash or strobe (as with 99.5% of all my other portraiture works in the past 4 months) was used and the peculiar lighting is small area of harsher light coming from in between the clarke quay buildings.

I used to be a big supporter of gary fong lightsphere and flash usage... but now i'm a natural light guy.
