during sunrise/sunset, the sun's rays is way way less powerful than a midday sun... so its alright. i wouldnt suggest to point ur cam towards the sun during other times tho, esp at the telephoto range

Yea... I kinda knew that... But less powerful sun rays over several hours can't be good too, right? Hahaha.

well, i dunno, have never tried pointing my lens at the sun for so long haha
