Siron - Tks for the comments. I was driving home when I noticed the beautiful colours that the sunset was adding to the sky. I quickly stopped by MacRitchie and took out my DC to shot. I think it was abt 1900 hrs.

Just to add that I have "borrowed" the idea behind a technique called "blended exposure" to arrived at this image from 2 images with different exposures (some may consider this as cheating!). One image is well exposed for the sky (with under exposed foreground) while the other is well exposed for the reservoir+boat in the foreground (with over exposed sky).

Also, I have "committed further cheating" by removing some distracting items from the reservoir using PS ... can't tell huh?
