I've been to two places for sunrise, Pasir Ris Park and Merlion Park. Of the two, I like going to Pasir Ris Park because the latter has too many things in the way like the bridge and buildings.

On good weather conditions you can see the sun rising like a ball of fire. Beautiful.

but what will consititue the 'best' sunrise then?

& I thought anywhere ya can see the sun rising, it'll be a good sunrise !?

Anywhere can take good sunrise. Can try taking sunrise with the highway (CTE, PIE or whatever E) as the foreground... might make an interesting shot.

I'm not saying I've been to the best sunrise location. I've only been in two.

Let's not define/debate what it means by "best sunrise". Why not tell him your experiences if you ever shot/seen one. Share your favorite location.

How about somewhere in the east? Would Changi be a good location for a good picture?

The best sunrise, I will suggest Changi Beach Park, car park 5. You can probably get very close shots of Airplane taking off and landing too.

i went there this morning... too bad, heavy rain.... hai... wasted trip....

anyone, the place very nice.....

thanks for your recommendadtions....

I think Changi or Punggol will be the best for sunrise shots. Had wanted to go down to changi today also, but had to cancel due to heavy rain. Anyone interested for a sunset shoot at Kranji later? I'm not too sure about the location though, hahaz.

Can see some of my changi sunrise shots here abt 3 weeks ago.
