Thank you Ben and Bernard have taken the lead for this outing. Good to see many Dinosaurs have not extincted yet with all type of Pentax film cameras (even one Pen without Tax also appeared) ;)

The weather is not so good for sunrise but the kopi chit chat section and the street shooting section had a lot of fun today.

Let me start first by the photo take using Pentax MX film camera, Voigtlander 20/3.5 lens (thanks Bernard for lending me this fantastic one to shoot for a while), Kodak Ektar 100. This is my first time doing 60s long exposure shoot using .... none live-view camera so need to depend on my Ricoh GRII as a light meter (a bit over-cooked, I think).

How do I feel about this Voigtlander 20mm lens? hi hi .... That's a tough question, bro! If I still shoot film a lot on my Pentax MX these day and have not got many other similar lens, I will definitely hunt for one!

Matched nicely with the MX compact body, smooth operation, good sharpness and color on film. I had to return it back to Bernard quickly before I was poisoned! Dangerous!

Thanks B & B for organizing this film & kopi outing.

Wake up late and reach lao pa sat during kopi time, din really shoot much.

Its been few months since last Pentax outing .

Thanks to Ben and Bernard taking the inititative to organise the outing.

Arrived late , so can only join the early birds for breakfast followed by some steets. Brought my film camera , but given the not so favourable lighting condition, wanted to save my film for other occassions. Hence mostly shot with DSLR .

The more important thing about such outings are the friendship we built over the sharing during such sessions over coffee or drinks and food. That's what draws the people to come together despite our busy schedule. Hope to see more people join next time.

Breakfast together at Lau Pa Sat ..

See the rare les, on Ben's vintage film camera . The lens is the elusive FA 20 - 35mm f/4 . Very rare nowadays. Good focal length on FF , especially for streets. Get it if one such lens comes along. ;)

We were indeed honoured to have this film master attend this outing . Usually he prefers his bed than to a walkabout. :bsmilie:

Some more poison ... next three pictures are taken with Ben's Zeiss Jena 35mm f/2.4 M42 lens converted to k-mount. Its aamazing how close this lens can focus.

Just look at the sharpness and bokeh coming out from this lens. Old lens but still able to hold its own on the K-1.
