Managed to get a couple more shots on my second trip to SBG for sunbirds.

Shutter speed: 1/125 sec
Aperture: 5.6
ISO : 200

Shutter speed: 1/125 sec
Aperture: 6.3
ISO : 100

Eq : 300mm f/4 + 1.4x TC

For the second picture, would it be possible for both the bird and the flower to be in focus?

I really like the second photo but the flower is out of focus (or whatever it is called) Maybe you want it that way issit?

Wah....nice. I like both shots. Nice For the 1st one, the if only the head is as sharp as the wings. Nonetheless, both shots are nice

Yes you can by focusing on the plant and stop down the aperture.
