I was wondering where you took this and what were the dark images to the right of the photos ... until I saw you say it's the 12 apostles.

just wondering, what type of metering did you take? spot? center? matrix?

I tried to take photos of a number of sunsets in hawaii and found that if I took spot metering on the sun, I would get a beautiful FULL sun. However, the surrounding sea and scenery would be very very dark and under exposed.

If I took matrix metering though, the sun would be over exposed and the scenery under exposed.

ah cannot remember hehe, think i used spot metering. I don't have matrix metering. I will give preference to the sun and not to overly expose it.

It's prolly intentional but I find the pic a lil too dark. I'd prolly like it better if it's a lil brighter with better colors.

I know nuts abt technical skills. LOL Dun ask! :p
