This is an excellent shot..I kinda gives that enlightenment, almighty kinda feeling..

some comments though...

1. slanted horizon
2. i think it would be nicer in a +2/3 EV to bring out some details in the foreground cloud
3. if i ain't worng i can see a boat or something in the sun's reflection path on the see, my opinion is such that if placing it more on the highlights rather than the shadows would give the pic a lot more depth.

Thanks for your comments die Blende. I purposely chose to underexpose by 1/3 stop to retain the shadows for that dark yet powerful atmosphere. But what you suggested is worth trying out as well, thanks!

Nice shot! Like what they say, horizon is slightly slanted but the photo packs a powerful punch indeed! It's like on the right is the bright side and the dark side on the other

Thanks xray... Was kinda disappointed when I din manage to catch a proper sunset cos of the clouds when i was in Bali... but i guess this was something different ;)
