most lens are okay....its the composition and lighting that will be the issue.

I would recommend macro lens, although, as mentioned by Reportage, most lens can certainly handle the job.

Your 55-250mm is hampered by a fairly great focusing distance, so I think I'd just stick to the kit lens, which I believe is the 18-55mm IS.

If you have some petty cash, you can try renting macro or T/S lenses. You'd have a lot of fun, I promise you.

55-250 abit hard to use because it takes at least 1m to focus.

18-55 should be quite okay? Try it out and find out! Just grab your watch and take a few snaps first lo.

TS-90 or 45 like someone said. 60mm or 100mm macro as well. With good lighting (either natural, or strobe-based).

Thanks all seniors for the recommendation..

Believe i will be using my 18-55 for trial run....hope to get the hang of it..

Macro lens on the ex side..

If i am to use reverse lens vs macro extension tube...which will sound more useful for a newbie? Or i am totally on the wrong track...?

Is a tentage a must?
