Due to some reasons, someone has been puking quite a bit.
Just wondering what is a good thing for the person to soothe the throat?

Suggestions on what and where to get it. Thanks

No doctor here, but for me personally, if I get sick in that way I always gargle with warm water to clear and sooth the throat. Then drink warm tea. :dunno:

btw - hope the person starts feeling better soon. :)

saw doc liao, doc just say try not to puke lor!
cannot do anything about the sore throat oso!
then go around ask lor, don't need any miracle medication to stop puking.
just want to find something to make the throat better.

If i need doc's advice, then i go SGH, TTSH or AH.
Just want to see if can learn something from others' experiences.

how to make warmed honeyed drink with lemon?

what kind of honey?
normal water? mineral water?
lemon slices? lemon juice? bottled lemon juice?

Whats your throat feeling like really? Burning sensation due to the vomited gastric? Or it was hurt during the vomiting process?

You may try to go to the pharmacy and ask for a small bottle Difflam gargle (100 or 200ml), it's anti-inflammatory with anaesthetic effect, which may help the pain. Don't swallow it though.

Another way if you are not allergic to aspirin, you may try dissolve aspirin in water and gargle it, it may help to reduce ulcer pain. Dont' swallow it also.
