Suggestion on backdrop

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for some black and white backdrop for talking photo of my children. Does those cloth selling at textile shop serve the purpose? Always wanted a clean background when taking photo at home.

Sure why not? Can use paper / painted walls also.

most cloth you able to find is only 45" wide, it is not wide enough to be used as backdrop, unless you ask your children stand or sit very close, else you need to join two pieces together to make the backdrop wider.

do note that if yr children are standing close to the backdrop, and if you are using flash, be mindful of the shadows falling on it. my view, larger is more convenient.
