LTA rocks!
The people there do listen to the consumers .....
With immediate effect, you can drop or pick up from anywhere but not on dedicated bus lanes.

i think the cab drivers couldn't be bothered with it in the first place with it being so hard to get passengers nowadays.

Good news.

they do bother. especially when 130 dollar fines are in force during the rule, and LTA was cracking down hard.

i wonder if those who got booked, can they get any form of compensation or reimbursement?

According to the news:

"Starting from Monday, taxis will be allowed to pick up and drop off passengers on side roads of the CBD where buses do not ply.

Along roads that have buses plying, taxis can only pick up and drop off passengers at taxi stands or on driveways of buildings between 7am and 10pm. "

So that means, not only bus lane can't, main road with buses also cannot right?

i wonder what made them recant...

bro ..... do you know the history?.... if not, better dont comment ....

not refering to their historical context.
