Ive done this several times and its a real help in super low light situations... I did some night portraits with this light before i lost my iphone.

yea, read that article, and my phone's screen just froze.. so now I have a permanent micro-softbox in my pocket..

I thought about using Iphone's torch feature as well, but not as a softbox.
Too dim for me maybe, i thought it was better as a focusing light ;p

Ipod touch would be cheaper in this case.
