[Street Shooting Part 2] 30th October(Sat) @ Bugis

Hi all,

The street shoot outing on 9th October was a very successful one, and I'm organizing a follow-up outing. While we started from Chinatown, proceeded to Bugis, and ended the outing in Little India the last time, I am proposing that we start from Bugis this time, and proceed to cover the areas around Bugis(such as Haji Lane) before we move on to Chinatown or Little India. Hopefully this will allow us to capture very different scenes from that last outing.

This is just a casual walkabout, so there won't be any guides or leaders, but you can expect a fair amount of conversation, tips and poisoning along the way.

Although this outing is mainly targeted at those who turned up for the 9th Oct outing, anyone is welcome to join the outing as long they are willing to participate actively.

Location: Bugis MRT
Meet-up Timing: 9am
Estimated End-time: 3pm

thanks for your invite via PM. I don't think I'll be able to make it for this one, got some plans for the weekend already.

But anyway, 9am-3pm is kinda hardcore for me. I usually start shooting by having a couple of beers at 2pm-4pm then start shooting after that

I don't sharing mind what little I know, but I'm a Nikon shooter, so I can't offer Canon-specific tips... ;p

Hmmm... Get a book, or read up on the internet on exposure, one of the most important things in photography. Every camera 50 years ago or today depends on iso,shutter,aperture for exposure, nothing has changed, only these 3 things.
Also, read up a little in depth of field will help you understand more as well.

once you got your sunny 16 dialed in, DOF dialed, you are all set to go.
Composition & framing imho, cant be taught, gotta trial & error, learn yourself kinda stuff.

Wish you luck in your photography journey, no worries, you got a lot of masters to guide you on this outing, tung & bananadiver are :thumbsup:
