Like to seek your opinion about this email we received from one of the members of CS.

There is this person whom do not reveal who his is and exact details but just initial as M*** that he is looking for a model for a 'client' to shoot together with 5 of his sports cars. He also claimed that he is a son one of hotel owners.

The above is fine but the funny thing is that we are not allowed to escort the model to the meet point to meet up with this 'client' of his and is only a 1 on 1 shoot at 12 midnight for 3 to 4 hours. The best part is that he can't even be there as well and claimed that he is not in town.

We do not know the actual venue of the shoot as well.

First he came in with Race Queen wear and then with lingerie and sexy dresses towards the eve of the day of shoot. He also kept on saying that the model got to be daring to pose and 'open'.

Am I been sensitive or it is a very normal thing to expect for a night shoot?

Nope. If is just a normal 1 to 1 shoot, is still ok I guess. Because there are some asking for night lingerie shoot in the night over some models we are post in the work shop threads but is very subjective if the models want to do it of course. We are just doing events for a living not really into modeling.

We might not be familar with some of the things going around so just seeking opinions when such emails come by, how do we handle and if is norm. Seems like to ignore is the best option.:think:

One simple thing I've learned in life ... if a person is hesitant to reveal SPECIFICS, chances are, he has something to hide.

Other than that, look at all the facts you mentioned. Any ONE of them is already potential for ENDANGERING the model's safety and life, but the entire combination ... :sweat:

Heard tons of these directly fr the girls. Usually, if they're in it for the money (models), and willing, and of age of course, then why not. But be prepared to face perverts.

If you're concerned of the girl, and she's in it for the $, have a chat with this M*** more. More often than not, the more they're being questioned, the more attempts to dupe the girl, would poke its ugly face and stink like a rotten fish. Questions like: Can I have someone standby near the hotel? $ transaction by cash or transfer (a nono!), I really need the exact location so I can tell my friend, what's to be expected, etc.

I'd say 8/10 are deprived, fat ugly perverts. Bottomline lies a question of ethic vs morality vs luv for money vs whatever, and I don't claim to champion it. I just respect individuals for who they are if they want to do it, fine, I'll be there to help.

But a word of warning to the girls: do not be too greedy, or you'll be sorry.

I dun know what to suggest but as long as the model is not underage and if she really wants to do it for proper portfolio sake should be ok. As long as she is not alone or private with another photographer, things should be quite safe. I hope.

Best is not to take the job.
